I Heart Faces Photo Challenge - June - In the distance.

This shot is from my niece's college graduation just two weeks ago. They had the graduates enter for the ceremony earlier than expected due to weather concerns so I did not get to see my niece enter. I sent her a text asking where she was sitting. Then I sent her a reply asking her to lean forward and look to her right because I was going to run up the side with my camera to get a shot of her and hope that no one would stop me. No one did and I got this shot. I heart technology! Without that text exchange, not sure this would have happened. And the rain stayed away!

Oh I just absolutely love this capture! I am on the other end of the spectrum having just gone through my daughter's preschool graduation. She was so excited to wear her "flat hat" as she called it. I could not help but sit that night and wonder about how many more flat hat ceremonies I will have the honor of sitting through. So, this image just hits home with me. You did a beautiful job of using the perfect aperture to capture the moment. Well Done!!!
