Out and About
Out and About and taking photos without Faces
I know as a musician that I could just play my favorite genre all the time. But what makes myself grow as a musician is trying something new. It's the same for photography or any art form I suspect. Actually landscapes and streetscapes, compositions without faces, are a more of a return for me. I was really bad about organizing the negatives and my prints from my film days. Hopefully someday I will get my act together and be able to share my travels with you. But way way way before I had kids and started to really focus on people, I mainly photographed my surroundings. It's a much different approach and point of view for aperture, focus, composition, and everything. Al least I think so. I am hoping that now that my kids are getting a bit older, I can get out and about more often and stretch and strengthen my creative muscle. Here are some out and about shots from a recent trip to Baltimore.
Let me know what you think. Thanks for reading! - Annmarie
